SCAPA Bluegrass Blood Drive
- When: Tuesday, January 8, 2008, 2-6 pm
- Where: Helm Hall
Lafayette Open House
- Who: 8th Graders and Parents
- When: Tuesday, January 15th, 2008, 5:30—6:30 p.m.
- Where: Lafayette Cafeteria 401 Reed Lane
- Visit tables to gather information about clubs, athletics, music programs, and a variety of academic opportunities such as AP courses, elective courses, SCAPA, Pre-Engineering, etc.
- Students dismissed to the GYM for the basketball game—FREE.
- Parents meet in small groups with the Counselors to learn about the scheduling process

Call for Scripts
2008 VSA arts Playwright Discovery
- Competition for students grades 6-12 to write a new one act play on the theme of disability
- Winning play will be professionally produced at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts
- Winning playwright receives $2,000.00 and a trip to Washington, DC , to see his/her play performed
- Guidelines and applications
- Submissions must be received by April 11, 2008
